Healthcare Accountant - White Plains, NY

A healthcare organization in Westchester County is currently seeking an experienced professional to join their staff as their new Healthcare Accountant.
In this role, the Healthcare Accountant will will be responsible for all financial activities and will ensure that all programs are abiding by regulations pertaining to financial information
Responsibilities:
The Healthcare Accountant will:
Conducting financial analysis and forecasting of revenues and expenditures Preparation and review of monthly financial statements/reports and related accounting reports for the medical group Managing day-to-day financial needs, including accounts receivable & outbound cash flow Working with upper management to create departmental budgets Reconciling bank, credit card statements & all accounts Tax return preparation and filing Continuously reviewing actual spend against budget, as well as direct actions needed Meeting accounting operational standards by contributing financial information to strategic plans and reviews Working with the Practice Administrator to maintain proper financial documents Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or a related field Intermediate to expert Accounting knowledge Healthcare Accounting background Solid understanding of Invoices, statements of Account Receivables, Payables, and various forms of Payment remittances for multiple entities Solid analytical and research skills Great interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Strong attention to detail Highly organized Desired Skills:
CPA or parts passed Recommended Skills Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Analytical Attention To Detail Communication Coordinating Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
