Information Technology Business Analyst- Boutique Financial Firm
Responsibilities:
Provide continuous support for the firm's investment and operational process, procedures, and controls Support the IT infrastructure of an active investment manager Work closely with business units, (portfolio managers, risk managers, operations, and technology) to understand business requirements Author business requirements and manage the implementation with IT and the business Perform functional testing of all technology enhancements Requirements:

years working in business analyst roles with an alternative investment firm or small hedge fund.
Must have a deep understanding of end-to-end investment operations lifecycle Must understand software development principles Must have hands-on experience working with investment information systems such as Geneva, Backstop, Dealcloser, Salesforce, NetSuite, and Tableau Hedge Fund BA experience a plus Must have superior communication and problem-solving skills Must be able to work independently to achieve results Preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate an ability to work independently to drive the firm's transition and implementation of new management information applications.
Candidates should have MIS Business Analysis experience coming from a small firm where they are comfortable working across all of the firm's business areas and can be nimble to respond to changing business application priorities.
