We are seeking a dynamic, passionate and dedicated Pain Management Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team.
This is a full-time, permanent position in our fast-paced, patient-centered medical facility.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing top-quality care to patients suffering from chronic and acute pain conditions, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive pain management plans.
Responsibilities:
As a Pain Management Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you will be responsible for:
1.
Evaluating and treating patients with various types of pain, including chronic and acute conditions.
2.
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive pain management plans.
3.
Prescribing and managing medications in accordance with state regulations and patient needs.
4.
Educating patients and their families about pain management strategies, including lifestyle changes and self-care.
5.
Documenting patient care in our electronic medical records system.
6.
Providing compassionate, patient-centered care at all times.
7.
Participating in ongoing education and professional development activities to stay current with the latest advances in pain management.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must possess the following:
1.
A Master's degree from an accredited graduate school program.
2.
Current NCCPA or AANPCP certification.
3.
Valid DEA and NPI.
4.
Current CPR, BLS and ACLS certifications.
5.
An active and valid practitioner license.
6.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
7.
Excellent patient care skills, with a strong commitment to providing top-quality care to all patients.
8.
Outstanding customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
9.
Knowledge of EMR and/or Electronic Practice Management systems and technologies.
10.
The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
