Assists management in enforcing safety regulations - aware of building exits and evacuation routes.
Responsible for maintaining a sign-in roster at front desk for all visitors.
Responsible for conducting building and grounds surveillance on a regular basis to detect and report any safety violations.
Responsible for monitoring and documenting patient loitering within a four-block radius.
Responsible for conducting periodic and random fire drills.
Maintains clear communication with management.
Must have at least one (1) year experience in security operations.
Experience working with individuals diagnosed with mental illness and/or substance abuse disorders preferred.
Current New York State Security Officer Certification Current Fire Guard Certification High School/GED Required Pay:
1199 Collective Bargaining Rates.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
