Overview
We are seeking an experienced Client Executive to join our Emerging Market team. The Client Executive has primary responsibility for ensuring the satisfaction and loyalty of Transamerica Retirement Solutions clients in the qualified plan markets. This position is based in New York, NY, Harrison, NY, Philadelphia, PA, or Milburn, NJ.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for asset retention, client satisfaction and loyalty within assigned book of business, primarily 401(k) plans but may also include defined benefit and multiple employer plans.
Responsible for relationship management through proactive, face-to-face client visits, telephone contact and emails. Client Executives will conduct a minimum number of required annual plan reviews, investment reviews and general service meetings with clients, advisors and TPAs.
Support new business by participating in sales presentations, acting as a subject matter expert regarding the TRS service model, installation process, ongoing administration, plan design, process and procedures.
Train clients on TRS processes and procedures and resources, including web-site navigation, reporting, and participant services.
Act as an escalation point for resolution of non-routine issues related to service center performance, including; research to identify root cause, designing strategies to resolve issues and managing resources to resolution.
Consult with clients and advisors on qualified plan design issues. Interpret and explain plan provisions and regulations. Recommend alternative plan design provisions to accomplish clients' goals.
Consult with clients and advisors on plan investment issues including performance, diversification, style, suitability, etc. Present Annual Retirement Plan Review to plan sponsor committees.
Consult with clients and advisors regarding fees, benchmarking and pricing. Manage internal process for pricing reviews and changes.
Provide interpretation of discrimination testing rules and results, along with consultation on solutions to failed testing.
Consult with clients and advisors on plan enhancements or upgrades. Keep clients and advisors apprised of product and service enhancements, including changes in investment options.
Design participant education campaigns with clients to meet their specific plan objectives.
Contribute to and participate in departmental and organization-wide projects and committees designed to enhance service delivery, improve internal training, make recommendations for service improvement, etc.
Position
Qualifications:
7
years of experience working directly with qualified plan sponsors, advisors and/orTPAs, preferably with in a relationship management role.
College degree required. Industry credentials from ASPPA and/or SPARK preferred. Position will require FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses.
Strong presentation and consultative skills. A thorough working knowledge of ERISA, qualified plan design, recordkeeping, administration, and plan investments is required.
Ability to manage and resolve large volumes of technically complex issues.
Excellent presentation and communication skills, including the ability to interact with C-Suite.
Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills.
Ability to build and deepen relationships with clients, advisors, TPAs and internal colleagues.
Ability and willingness to travel 40% to 60%.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
