The Senior Communication Consultant will create and manage communication and education campaigns for new and existing clients within Transamerica Retirement Solutions. This includes preparing custom communications, and expanding and maintaining the library of communication materials for our participant communication and education program.
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Assist with creation and maintenance of communications library for our participant education program, including electronic, print, seminar/webinar, and video.
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Provide communication consulting services for new and existing clients, such as communication planning and strategy development, messaging, content development and editing in support of client and market needs.
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Develop and maintain content for email campaigns, web and microsites/web portals, social media outlets. Produce appropriate communications by engaging with subject matter experts, writing and editing articles, and securing reviews and all approvals.
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Contribute to annual automated communication plan and online editorial calendar.
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Help manage deliverables relative to our multi-channel marketing engagements (may include Institutional Markets, Emerging Markets, and/or Personal Retirement Services). This individual will work closely with the internal members of the team to understand and document requirements for direct marketing efforts including campaign execution.
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Act as project manager for small/medium marketing initiatives; build detailed project plans; help manage the budget for these initiatives
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Collaborate with internal customers to develop strategies to meet their communications needs. Act as liaison with internal and external parties as necessary throughout the development and distribution process.
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Collaborate with Creative and Web teams to ensure each communication is purposeful.
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Write, edit and proofread copy.
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Ensure communications meet regulatory and accreditation requirements, and follow all corporate operational processes, procedures and branding guidelines.
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Keep abreast of competitive initiatives.
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ A Bachelor's degree is required with marketing, communications, journalism, or English major preferred.
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ 5+ years of communications experience is required, ideally in the retirement plans/financial industry. HR communications or benefits communication consulting experience is a plus.
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, along with proven communication planning, execution and measurement expertise.
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Strong client relationship management skills are required for consulting with client executives, client relationship managers, and other internal sales representatives regarding communication services.
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Candidate must be customer-focused and team-oriented, with the demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Strong organizational, project, and time management skills are required.
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Knowledge of email, web, content management systems, and social media is a plus.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
