Financial Services firm looking for a Hedge Fund Accountant for our Harrison, NY location.
Responsibilities
Performing financial statement preparation and review
Working with auditors to prepare and present year-end financial accounts
Providing quarterly data for all aspects of regulatory reporting (ie PF, CPO-PQR, 13-F)
Supporting all aspects of ad-hoc reporting
Performing month-end close processes
Accurate calculation of fund NAVs
Posting accounting entries to ledger
Working with various products including bonds, swaps, CDOs, ABS, equities, options, FX, repos, and futures
Working on a global team which is responsible for reconciling cash/securities to outside sources, pricing the fund portfolios, and calculating daily profit and loss.
Assisting with researching internal differences between the accounting and trade entry systems
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting

years experience as a hedge fund accountant, product controller or auditor of hedge funds
Experienced with products including bonds, swaps, CDOs, ABS, equities, options, FX, repos, and futures
Exceptional organizational and written/verbal communication skills.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
