Senior Investment Quality Specialist

Responsibilities Work with the operations team to develop and initiate processes and procedures for audit and quality measures.  Oversee the research of flagged participants and data corrections; ensure participant concerns are escalated, researched and resolved. Identify new auditreports and quality measures across services needed to minimize potential issues. Work with the product team, IT, Marketing, Legal, and Compliance to drive enhancements and efficiencies, with an eye on quality, risk management, and scale.  Provide quality support to Asset Allocation Services by analyzing internal auditreports; engage operational and production support teams to research flagged participants and correct data as needed. Oversee product quality assurance processes and procedures within the Asset Allocation Services team. Work with IT to build and enhance auditreporting and automation. Interface with internal and external auditors and Legal and Compliance, describing the group's quality and audit procedures as needed, and pulling evidence of completed processes. Support special projects, such as analyzing data and running ad hoc reports in AQT. Assist team in making updates to Salesforce and quality checking Salesforce reports. Identify trends related to exception errors that may require additional oversight and changes to auditprocesses or changes to the services. Assist team with development of Managed Advice Quarterly Report. Assist team with updating materials on SharePoint. Assist in training new employees.      Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience Five years of related in the financial services industry, including experience working with data reports and/or quality control programs Written and verbal communication skills to convey technical information and analysis results, and document processes and procedures Organizational and time-management skills to work on multiple assignments through to completion Analytical and problem-solving skills to perform auditing procedures Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency creating formulas in MS Excel Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of Transamerica's retirement record keeping system data (Paris 3) Knowledge of investment products used in defined contribution accounts Understanding of various asset allocations used in long term investment strategies Experience with AQT Familiarity with Transamerica's plan sponsor and participant websites Working Conditions Office environment Our Culture At Transamerica we promote a Future Fit mindset. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
